The Regional Policy and Self-Government Committee deliberated on the Draft Law on Local Fees.

According to the draft law, in cases where a construction law violator acknowledges the violation, the fee for expedited service related to issuing an act on construction carried out without a permit or in violation of construction documentation requirements will be increased.

The draft law was introduced by Akaki Aladashvili, First Deputy Chair of the Procedural Issues Committee.

According to the reporter, the expedited service fee is set at no more than 40,000 GEL, while the procedure and exact amount of the payment will be determined by the representative body of the municipality.
