
The Speaker, H.E. Shalva Papuashvili and the First Vice-Speaker, Giorgi Volski attended the civic funeral served in St. Trinity Cathedral for the civilians missing during the armed activities in the 1990s and now reinterred from the occupied Abkhazia and extended their condolences to the family members of the perished.
Shalva Papuashvili and Giorgi Volski were accompanied by the Prime Minister, Irakli Kobakhidze and the members of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Through the cooperation of the Office of the State Ministry for Reconciliation and Civic Equality and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and within the coordination remedies, 12 identified missing persons have been reinterred and returned to their families.
5 warriors were given to the grave at the Digomi Communal Cemetery, and other identified persons, based on the decision of their families, were buried in their ancestry graves with the 21-gun salute.
