
Shota Khabareli, the head of the friendship group with the Parliament of the Republic of Korea, recently held a meeting with Young Sang Ryu, the president of the Korean company SK Telecom, and other company representatives. SK Telecom is known for its focus on modern technologies and innovative services, with involvement in various significant projects worldwide. Their visit to Georgia aimed to explore the Black Sea underwater power cable project and the potential for their participation.
During the meeting, Shota Khabareli expressed gratitude to the Korean guests for their interest in Georgia's investment environment. He highlighted the successful implementation of several projects in Georgia with Korean investment and welcomed the Korean businessmen's interest in the country.
The discussions also extended to educational initiatives related to modern technologies. The Korean company representatives expressed their readiness to support the education of talented Georgian students in Seoul universities.
The Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea was also present at the meeting.
