MP Shota Khabareli, who leads the friendship group between the Parliament of Georgia and the Parliament of the Republic of Korea, had a meeting with the Charge d’Affaires of the Republic of Korea, Kim Tong Op.

During the meeting, the participants discussed the current political and economic relations between Georgia and South Korea, highlighting the significance of robust inter-parliamentary cooperation. They acknowledged the intensification of cooperation between the two nations, evidenced by the bilateral official and business delegations' visits.

It was also mentioned that an official visit by the Speaker of the Republic of Korea to Georgia is scheduled for February next year, which is expected to further enhance the existing bilateral cooperation.
