Vladimir Kakhadze: we share our experience in the healthcare and social sphere with our Armenian colleagues

The First Deputy Chair of the Health Care and Social Issues Committee, Vladimir Kakhadze held a meeting with the Armenian Delegation, composed of the members of the Healthcare and Social Reforms Committee of the National Assembly of Armenia and the Ministry of Healthcare.


“Our Armenian colleagues asked about the reforms we have undertaken in the healthcare and social sphere and the efficiency thereof, as well as the solution of the problems by our authorities and certain achievements, including the Hepatitis C elimination program, TB and AIDS treatment, also the Tobacco Law, Labor Code and the Labor Inspection activity, circular migration etc. We discussed the role and functions of the Parliament in healthcare reforms and informed our guests about four directions that we can be proud of: communicated legal activity, total transparency, and oversight and scrutiny function of the Parliament, namely on the enforcement of the normative acts. The importance of the engagement of the executive authority, NGOs, international donors and partners in these processes has been underlined”, - V. Kakhadze noted.
