The Chair of the Health Care and Social Issues Committee, Dimitri Khundadze held a meeting with the Chair of the Social Policy Committee of the Czech Senate, Miluše Horská and the Delegation members to discuss the general political issues, as well as the global pandemic.

“At the meeting with the representatives of the Czech Senate, including the Chair of the Social Policy Committee, we discussed the healthcare issues and social policy. We exchanged our experience and reconciled on a common idea that the social policy needs a new vision – better it is systematic than symptomatic and that improvement of the social directions by the aids solely is impossible, it requires the facilitation to the economic growth, creation of job opportunities and employment of the socially vulnerable persons. The aid programs shall become more targeted and effective as well. We agreed on our visit to Czech Senate to introduce our experience and plan the future”, - D. Khundadze stated.

The meeting was attended by the First Deputy Chair of the Health Care Committee, Vladimir Kakhadze and the Committee member, Zaza Lominadze.
