Giorgi Gabunia Attended the Presentation of a Book Dedicated to the Life and Work of Gurian Folk Song Performer and Choirmaster Tristan Sikhariulidze

Chair of the Culture Committee, Giorgi Gabunia, attended the presentation of a book dedicated to the life and creative legacy of Gurian folk song performer and choirmaster Tristan Sikhariulidze and addressed the participants of the event.
Giorgi Gabunia spoke about the uniqueness of the publication and noted that the book “Tristan Sikhariulidze – A Master of Gurian Song” is based on the work “Guria and the Tristan Sikhariulidzes” (2017) by the distinguished Georgian cultural figure Anzor Erkomaishvili. The publication is accompanied by newly recorded audio performances by Tristan Sikhariulidze.
Giorgi Gabunia expressed his gratitude to the charitable foundation “Georgian Chant”, which implemented the project in cooperation with the Chanting University.
The event was attended by Members of the Parliament of Georgia and Minister of Culture Tinatin Rukhadze.
