Giorgi Volski, the First Vice-Speaker, held a meeting with the representatives of the Organization “Georgian Students’ Parliament and Government” and reviewed the political processes and the foreign policy priorities of Georgia.

 

The discourse included the political developments in Georgia, the wider region and across the globe. 

 

Mr. Volski accentuated the national and international security provision, the tasks of the country encountering grave challenges, and the significance of maintaining stability and development. 

 

He reviewed the neighbourhood policy and Georgia’s relations with its neighbours, the Russia-Ukraine war and the aid it provided to Ukraine.

 

G. Volski highlighted the Georgia-EU relations, the EU integration progress of the country and the lingering challenges. 

 

Special emphasis was placed on the significance of education and the role of the youth in the national development. 

 

Mr. Volski answered the questions of the students concerning the foreign and domestic policy priorities.
