The Head of the Georgia-Korea Friendship Group, Shota Khabareli held an introductory meeting with the newly appointed Charge d’Affaires of the Embassy of Korea, Kim Tong Op.

The parties overviewed the cooperation directions and underlined the importance of Parliamentary relations. As noted, within the 30-year diplomatic relations, the two countries have jointly realized various interesting projects and are committed to further improving the relations into more dynamic and diverse.

Sh. Khabareli thanked the diplomat for the technical equipment delivered for gratis by Korea to the Printing Department of Parliament and stressed the importance of the support of Korea to Georgia.

In view of the enhancement of Parliamentary relations, the Parliamentary Delegation, headed by the Speaker, Shalva Papuashvili schedules a visit to Korea, as well as holding various meetings and attending events.
