Media and Society 17 Nov 2025

The Bureau assigned the mandatory and leading Committees for the consideration of the Draft Law on Personal Data Protection.
The legal package annuls the Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Personal Data Protection Service on March 1, 2026, and delegates their functions to the State Audit Office.
The amendments regulate the issues pertaining to the authority of the Audit Office in controlling the lawfulness of the personal data processing.
The Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee was assigned as leading, and the Economic Policy, the Legal Affairs, the Procedural Issues, and the Budget and Finance Committees were assigned as mandatory.
