Members of Parliament attended an event dedicated to the 104th anniversary of the Georgian Technical University.
The participants of the event were addressed by the Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, Givi Mikanadze; the Rector of the Georgian Technical University, Academician Davit Gurgenidze; and the President of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences, Academician Roin Metreveli.
As part of the event, a monument to the distinguished Georgian scientist Giorgi Nikoladze and the renovated park of the Technical University were inaugurated. Invited guests also toured the newly opened Straw Laboratory at the Giuli Shartava Educational and Research Laboratory Complex of Engineering and Technologies, and became acquainted with the university’s research infrastructure and modern technological capabilities.
The event marking the 104th anniversary of the Georgian Technical University was attended by Members of Parliament Giorgi Chakvetadze, Giorgi Sosiashvili, Vladimer Kakhadze, Eka Sepashvili, Lika Shartava, Zurab Kadagidze, Givi Chichinadze, and Davit Dolidze, as well as rectors of various universities and representatives of the academic community.
