Giorgi Gabunia, Chair of the Culture Committee, met with the  Chair of the Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Sports and Youth Committee of the National Assembly of Armenia, Sisak Gabrielyan, and the Committee members.

 

The conversation encompassed the cooperation prospects in the cultural sphere. The parties highlighted the strategic partnership between the two countries and the close relationship. 

 

“During the meeting, we touched upon the projects undertaken by Georgia, serving for the promotion of the Armenian culture in the country, including the rehabilitation of the Armenian Theatre. We discussed the opportunity of holding the Armenian Culture Days in Georgia next year and the organization of the concert of the Ensemble “Martve” in Yerevan”, - G. Gabunia stated.

 

The meeting was attended by Eka Chichinadze, the First Deputy Chair of the Committee, and the Committee members - Isko Daseni, Zaza Lominadze and a member of the Georgia-Armenia Friendship Group, Shota Khabareli.
