Giorgi Gabunia, Chair of the Culture Committee, attended the Concert by the State Ensemble “Rustavi” in Ozurgeti Drama Theatre, dedicated to the 85th Jubilee of the public figure, choirmaster and folklorist, Anzor Erkomaishvili and delivered the welcome address.

He emphasised the historical significance of the Folk State Academic Ensemble, established by Anzor Erkomaishvili. He underscored that the Ensemble “Rustavi” diligently preserves the folk dance and song tradition, passing it down through generations.

The Concert was also attended by: Tinatin Rukhadze, the Culture Minister; Mikheil Sarjveladze, the IDPs, Labor, Health and Social Protection Minister; Giorgi Mirtskhulava, the Deputy Culture Minister; MP David Matikashvili and the local authorities.

The ceremony was organized with the support of the Culture Ministry and Ozurgeti City Hall.
