Giorgi Volski Delivering Speech at IPU 148th Assembly

The Georgian parliamentary delegation is participating in the 148th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in Geneva. Among the topics slated for discussion at the international forum, one of the primary focuses is the role of parliamentary diplomacy in fostering peace and the deliberation on enhancing its endeavors.
Addressing the assembly, the First Vice-Speaker of the Parliament, Giorgi Volski, emphasized the importance of advancing peace processes within the country.
"Today, there is no common opinion among the war-torn societies regarding the future political arrangement of the state, but we must be sure that we will solve this problem peacefully. Today, we have to take care so that our children living in the same geographical space look at each other in the eyes and not through the sights of guns”, - Giorgi Volski stated.
Members of the Parliament of Georgia, Giorgi Volski, Nikoloz Samkharadze, Khatia Tsilosani, and Davit Zilfimiani, will attend the 148th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, scheduled to take place from March 23 to March 27.
