Giorgi Volski, the First Vice-Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia hosted the Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of Armenia, H.E. Ashot Smbatyan for the deliberation on the key aspects of Georgia-Armenia relations.

The parties agreed on further cooperation prospects.

“At the recent meeting, we reviewed the latest developments in the region and globally. The meeting underscored the importance of cooperation between the two legislative bodies. The Parliaments of Georgia and Armenia are planning to establish Friendship Groups to further strengthen their collaboration. I expressed my gratitude to Mr. Ambassador for the support expressed by the Armenian Delegation at the recent PACE sittings and for sharing and supporting Georgia’s position”, - G. Volski stated after the meeting.
