Mariam Lashkhi and Irakli Shatakishvili Continue Meetings in Germany

Member of the Education and Science Committee of the Parliament, Chairman of the Scientific-Advisory Council for Vocational Education, Mariam Lashkhi, and First Deputy Chairman of the Rules and Procedural Issues Committee, Irakli Shatakishvili, are currently engaged in working meetings in Germany.
During their working visit, Mariam Lashkhi and Irakli Shatakishvili convened a meeting at the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB).
This institute specializes in research and consulting for professional education in Germany. During the meeting, discussions centered on the financing model for professional education and the determination of priority areas.
Members of the Parliament of Georgia were introduced to the mechanisms and tools of the German vocational education system, which have contributed to its success.
Furthermore, the conversation covered additional opportunities for professional students within the Erasmus+ program.
Both parties agreed on future cooperation for the advancement of professional education in Georgia. To facilitate consultations, recommendations, and in-depth research, the deputies extended an invitation to the institute's representatives to visit Georgia. The German side expressed full readiness and support for sharing their expertise in the field of professional education.
