Nino Tsilosani, the Vice-Speaker, and Mariam Lashkhi, Chair of the Interim Commission on Women and Children with the members of the Movement “Families with Many Children, Georgia”.

 

The discourse addressed the support of families with many children and the development of the demographic policy in the country. 

 

“During the meeting with representatives of families with multiple children, we reviewed the program aids provided to these families by various municipalities. We discussed the initiatives they have submitted to us and touched upon the state’s engagement to improve the demographic situation in the country”, - N. Tsilosani noted.

 

As M. Lashkhi underlined, the support programs for families with many children shall be further extended. 

 

“Special emphasis at the meeting was placed on the improvement of access for families with many children to sports infrastructure and financial benefits, as well as the implementation of the awareness campaigns and target programs”, - she noted.
