Giorgi Kakauridze, the First Deputy Finance Minister, introduced the 9-month state budget 2025 implementation report to the Regional Policy and Self-Government Committee.

He reviewed the financial and macroeconomic parameters and introduced the budget revenues, expenditures and the budget consumption according to the state agencies.

The Committee took note of the report.

The reporter also introduced the Loan Agreement between Georgia and ADB for ratification.

According to him, the loan of 306,5 ml GEL shall be consumed on the construction of the last section of the Batumi detour and the Batumi-Sarpi highway.

He informed MPs about the loan terms and the scheduled works.

The construction shall start in 2027, and the loan shall be fully consumed by 2031.

Members of Parliament deliberated on the Draft Law on Equality between Men and Women for the I reading, introduced by one of the authors, the Vice-Speaker, Nino Tsilosani, elucidating that the amendments are of a technical nature.

As she reported, a new Article is introduced to the Law, stipulating that the Ajara AR authorities, in order to identify discrimination, shall develop a respective plan and establish the Council on Women and Children.

The Committee approved the documents.
