The Parliament elected Giorgi Volski, the First Vice-Speaker, as the Chair of the Interim Commission on Restoration of Territorial Integrity and De-occupation; he was supported by 80 MPs.

In line with paragraph 2, Article 72 of the Rules of Procedure, the candidate was nominated by the Faction “Georgian Dream”.
