Parliamentary Majority MPs partaking in the event dedicated to the World Down Syndrome Day

Giorgi Volski, the First Vice-Speaker of the Parliament, and the Deputy Chairs of the Faction “Georgian Dream”, Irma Zavradashvili, Rima Beridze and Greta Tsitsava, also the Majority MP Akaki Aladashvili visited the Child Daycare Center “Children of the Sun” on the occasion of the World Down Syndrome Day.
At this juncture, the Center hosted the campaign close-down ceremony.
Giorgi Volski, the First Vice-Speaker, and Mikheil Sarjveladze, the IDPs, Labor, Health and Social Protection Minister addressed the attendees.
“Today, I wish to remind our society of the remarkable individuals who make up our communities. These compassionate, intelligent, and gifted people deserve our unwavering support and care.
Within these walls, we have witnessed the boundless joy that arises when children engage in creative pursuits under the guidance of dedicated educators. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to these educators, teachers, parents, and particularly mothers for their unwavering commitment to nurturing these young minds. It is imperative that we continue to provide them with the care and attention they require to thrive”, - G. Volski stated.
The ceremony featured a diverse array of creative activities, involving the participation of both the beneficiaries of the Centre and the invited guests. Members of Parliament presented gifts to the children.
The solidarity campaign achieved through this ceremony served to raise public awareness and disseminate messages of inclusiveness, equality, and support.
